• Collection for this month: HarvestCall Servant Fund:
  The Servant Fund of the Apostolic Christian Church of America provides modest financial support for living expenses of brethren sent as full-time missionaries by HarvestCall.

• There is a need to periodically replenish the Disaster Fund, and HarvestCall would like to request a collection be taken. The HarvestCall Disaster Fund is set up to provide money for relief efforts in the immediate aftermath of a natural disasters and development efforts in response to those disasters. The Special Collection Box will be open for this collection the next two weeks. Please designate “disaster fund” on your tribution. (more details with emailed announcements)
• Please mark your calendars for the Hospital Lumiere Benefit Auction coming up in November. There will be an online auction from Thursday, November 2 at 4 p.m. through Saturday, November 4 at 4 p.m., and a live, in-person auction on Friday, November 10th in Gridley, IL at 7:00 p.m. with a meal starting at 4:30.
  The auction is still in need of items to be donated if you would like to contribute in that way. These items should be in by October 27th. For more information on the auction and how to donate items, please visit the auction website https://www.harvestcall.org/benefit-auction.
  
• Parkview Haven Services Tuesday evening 7:00 p.m. at Parkview Haven. Will look to those serving lunch in October to provide the support group for the evening. (Jason & Sarah, Dan & Denise, Jeremy & Amanda, Dana & Lea, Brian & Kristin)
  
• The Silver Lining welcomes your contribution toward a January 2024 reader-submitted compilation: What practical lessons have you learned from people in the Bible, such as David, Daniel, Peter, Esther, Deborah, or others (Hebrews 11:13-16)? (details with emailed announcements)
