Position Descriptions
Why are position descriptions important, and what benefit are they for our church?
We desire to be a body of believers who treat others with the same rich grace that God has poured upon us. Our heart is to demonstrate this grace through our lives in a way that is genuine and caring. We are blessed by God so that we can be a blessing to one another, to our communities and the world.
It is our hope that these position descriptions will help to bring clarity, accountability and renewed passion in our commitment to serve others, and thereby our lives will reflect the love of Christ and bring glory and honor to God.
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom 15:6
Overview
There are currently 34 church position descriptions. A copy of each is included in this download.
Primary goals for developing church position descriptions
- To create vision and clarity for each position.
- To help every office holder understand and appreciate the significance of their role.
- To prepare the church for the future.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.
