- Collection for this month: Charity Fund
- There is a need to periodically replenish the Disaster Fund, and HarvestCall would like to request a collection be taken to do this. As you know, the HarvestCall Disaster Fund is set up to provide money for relief efforts in the immediate aftermath of a natural disaster like Hurricane Idalia that so recently hit Florida and the southeast and for longer term rehabilitation and development efforts in response to those disasters. The Special Collection Box will be open for this collection the next three weeks. Please designate “disaster fund” on your contribution. (see attachment)
- Information about the upcoming online and in-person Hospital Lumiere benefit auction on Friday, November 10 in Gridley, IL is on the bulletin board. We are thankful to be adding back in the live, in-person event. There will be many exciting things to bid on and the financial support is so important to sustaining this medical mission.
We are collecting items now. Your donated tools, toys, services, household items, food, etc. are what makes this auction possible.
More details about the auction and how to donate items can be found on the attached PDF with the emailed announcements and at
www.harvestcall.org/benefit-auction. Thank you for your support.
- It's time to update the church lunch serving list for 2024. If you would like your name added to or removed from the list, please let Micah or Brittany know by Sunday, 9/24. Thanks!
- A church shower will be held on Sunday, October 1 for Isaac Bahler and Skylar McCullough. Following afternoon service, the congregation will sing 1-2 songs. After exiting the assembly there will be an opportunity to greet Isaac and Skylar and then proceed to the dining room for rootbeer floats and a light snack.
Those wishing to go in on the group gift (kitchen mixer) should let Janice Kaeb know prior to the shower, if possible, so you can be included on the card. The card can be signed at the shower, also. Thank you, dear church family, for your understanding as we shower Isaac and Skylar with blessings and accommodate their schedule.
- Remington hosts the memorandum potluck on November 5th. This potluck is for the Remington & Wolcott churches combined. There is a need for help hosting this potluck. If you are interested in helping, please contact Sis. Lea Nieman. Thank You !
- The Young Group made apple cider yesterday and there are jugs in the fridge for those who would like some to take home.
