Remington AC Church will provide a group and be recording the singing for Parkview on Tuesday, July 5th @ 7:30 pm EST. The group will meet at the Remington Fellowship Hall and sing songs via Zoom. Families on the serving list for July and the Young Group are encouraged to participate. Creekside residents are welcome to enjoy the singing at the Fellowship Hall. Bro.Stan will be coordinating (Loren & Jenni, Marcella , Chad & Janice, Neil & June, John & Lisa). Parkview Services are on the Church Calendar for 7:00. That is the regular time it is held at Parkview during normal times. During this time that we are recording at the Fellowship Hall instead of being live in person, we are going to be meeting at 7:30. That is why there is a time discrepancy between this email and the Church calendar.
“We would like as many volunteers as possible for the local Harvest Call project on July 7, 8, and 9. Our goal is to try to have the new steel roof installed by the Saturday evening of July 9. We can use all volunteers, but especially need those with carpentry and steel roofing experience. The house we plan to work on is at 404 West North St in Wolcott. ( Rick Dobbins who occasionally attends with us) He is very thankful and appreciative for the this help as he would not be able to do it himself. We encourage the volunteers to bring as much of the following tools as they can: Shingle shovels, battery operated impact screw guns, chargers, & bits, circular saws, tool belt (tape, hammer, pencil, knife, chalk-line), and metal snips. We will plan on starting at 9:00 am Thursday morning July 7 and work as late in the evening as we have volunteers and daylight. Food and snacks will be provided. We pray that this work will give glory to God!” We have a need for an additional $3,500.00 for this project and will be collecting through the Harvest Call Collection Box this Sunday the 3rd as well next Sunday the 10th.
Creekside Villa is planning an open house at two of their duplexes on Saturday July 9 from 2:00-5:00 pm. There is a flyer that will be included in the announcements. We would like to encourage as many of the Remington and Wolcott church family to attend as possible. (see attachment)
